Meeting at the European Parliament on the status of Moldova’s EU accession

I discussed the current status of the Republic of Moldova’s EU accession process with Mihai Popșoi, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, whom I met again at the European Parliament. It is Europe’s duty, and ours as Romanians, to provide all necessary political support for Moldova's European path and to ensure that a solution for opening accession negotiations is reached as swiftly as possible.
