The Bosch Engineering Center in Cluj-Napoca is a prime example of what Romanian competitiveness means on a global scale.

Did you know that the cars of the future are programmed in Cluj? The Bosch Engineering Center in Cluj-Napoca is a prime example of what Romanian competitiveness means on a global scale.
Bosch places Romania on the global map of macro-innovation and generates jobs. Around 1,500 employees here develop cutting-edge technologies for autonomous driving, electric mobility, and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS). In practice, the software and hardware solutions created in Cluj save lives in traffic and define the future of mobility worldwide.
I was delighted to visit them and had an excellent discussion with the Bosch team and Mr. Dan Lăzărescu, General Manager of Bosch Romania and Director of the Center, regarding the current economic context and the industry's perspectives on competitiveness within the future budget of the European Union.
As a Member of the European Parliament involved in defining the European Parliament's position on the future budget, my priority remains the effective support of the business environment in Romania and Europe.
Congratulations and admiration to the Bosch Cluj-Napoca team. Thank you to my USR parliamentary colleagues who joined me on this visit: Oana Murariu, Ciprian Rus, and Ciprian Rigman.
