How European funds are changing the face of our communities, with the right people like Anca Marcu, USR Mayor of Cojocna, Cluj County

My colleague Anca Marcu, the USR Mayor of Cojocna, Cluj County, demonstrates every day what it means to be a dedicated, hardworking mayor who truly loves her community.

Cojocnathand how European funds and NRRP funding can modernize a community. When public funds are managed with honesty, the results of Anca's work and that of the Cojocna Town Hall team are directly visible on the ground.

Citizens now have a new community clinic, an investment that includes a dental office equipped to European standards. At the same time, the voluntary collection center (CAV) in the commune is a huge step toward smart waste management and a cleaner environment. Furthermore, at Cojocna Baths, a major attraction for national tourism, Anca and her team are continuing modernization efforts. Also, the Cojocna Town Hall headquarters, a beautiful historical building dating back to 1772, has been completely renovated; its original architecture was preserved, while the interior was transformed into a modern and welcoming space for citizens.

The European funds and NRRP resources that we negotiated and continue to support in Brussels mean a better standard of living for Romanian communities.
