D-Day Commemoration Ceremonies

I was honoured to attend the ceremonies commemorating the Normandy landings, an absolute turning point in the history of Europe and the free world. As we pay tribute to the heroes of D-Day, we must understand a fundamental truth: freedom is not free, nor is it guaranteed forever. It must be defended every day through the choices we make, through European solidarity, and through our firm refusal to give in to dictatorship and intimidation.
