RenewPAC Summit in Rabat, Morocco

I took part in the RenewPAC Summit in Rabat, Morocco, an event that brought together more than 300 leaders and experts from 47 countries. Under the theme “Resilience and Renewal: Building Liberal Partnerships in a Multipolar World,” we showed that our political family, Renew Europe, is building a bridge of cooperation between Europe and partners from Africa, the Pacific, and the Caribbean. During the panel on good governance, I argued that democracy is not only a set of values, but also a mechanism for delivering real results for citizens. We are the only political family in Europe that has created a common platform to address global challenges together, from resource security to defending democracy against authoritarian models.
