The 17th meeting of the EU–Moldova Parliamentary Association Committee

During the 17th meeting of the EU–Moldova Parliamentary Association Committee, which I co-chaired alongside Marcel Spatari on behalf of the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova, and which brought together members of the Moldovan Parliament and Members of the European Parliament in Brussels, we adopted a Declaration reiterating our call on the European Council to officially open accession negotiations for the Republic of Moldova, across all clusters, without any delay. This is a decision of strategic importance for our common future. It is time for the European Union to acknowledge and reward Chișinău’s remarkable progress.
