TikTok: A misused tool or a weapon in disguise?

At the invitation of USR Youth and IFLRY Eastern Europe, I participated in an event in Bucharest dedicated to digital safety and the impact of social media disinformation on citizens. We discussed the measures the European Union is taking to protect citizens from the risks associated with platforms like TikTok. I was pleased to see the interest of young people in understanding what happens "behind the screen”. Information warfare is not fought with weapons alone, but through manipulation, and social media can easily become a channel where the truth is distorted.
