Romania’s voice must be clearly heard in the EU

In the current economic and strategic landscape, European Union rules are undergoing a much-needed adaptation, a process that demands constant and transparent dialogue. For this reason, alongside several Romanian fellow MEPs, I am supporting a dialogue platform involving Romania’s employers' associations and the business community. This week’s meeting at the European Parliament was attended by representatives from the UNPR and CONPIROM confederations, as well as associations from the cement and steel industries, energy producers, and the security industry. We need a rapid and efficient dialogue and consultation mechanism to analyze the impact of European legislative files and to safeguard the competitiveness of the Romanian economy.
