Youth, Politics and European Leadership 2026

I attended the third edition of YPEL - Youth, Politics and European Leadership, organised by the Security Studies and World Politics Association (SSWP), in partnership with the University of Bucharest and the Faculty of Political Science. The theme of this year’s event was “Europe 2026: Enlargement, Security and Competitiveness in a Changing World”, and I am delighted to see the strong interest shown by students in these topics, which are essential to the future of the European Union in a rapidly changing world.
