The Republic of Moldova has completed 24 of the 26 reforms undertaken as part of its European Union accession process.

At the European Parliament, I congratulated Igor Grosu, President of the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova, on the remarkable progress achieved. Together with fellow Romanian MEPs, we also discussed the interparliamentary cooperation needed to maintain this pace of modernization and reforms in the fields of justice and public administration.
