Today, I had a meeting with Maia Sandu, the President of the Republic of Moldova, Valérie Hayer, the President of the Renew Europe group, and my colleagues from the Romanian delegation, Vlad Voiculescu and Eugen Tomac.
We continue to firmly support the European path of the Republic of Moldova. However, in the parliamentary elections on September 28, the future of democracy and freedom for Moldovan citizens depends on everyone's involvement.
"The peace of Moldova is also the peace of Europe," emphasized President Maia Sandu in her speech at the European Parliament.
